The area that will be open on that day, and until. October 15.-lies north of the north-} ern boundaries of Kern, San Bernardino, Mendocino and Glenn counties, and east of Highway 99. All deer are very scattered due to and feed. The only concentration found at pre-; sent is on Treasure Mounttain in back of Sierraville. Placer-Nevada Counties—Deer are plentiful. Amador County—Lots of deer to be seen along the roads: There has been a very good crop of fawns.
