SMALL AUBURN PLANT TO TREAT CONCENTRATES A plant for reducing small ‘lots of concentrates is to be erected at Auburn for service to adjacent mining areas. Hal D. Draper, local assayer. and mine inspector, will be in’ charge cf purchases for the new plant. He bought three lots Wednesday and a fourth yesterday forenoon. Two of; the first ‘three lots, of concentrates . came’ from Deer Creek. They were. shipped to the new plant in Bakersfield yesterday and will continue to go there until the plant at Auburn is ready. Many little properties have small lots of concentrates and it is generally too expensive to take them to the bay area. The company at Auburn will be in a position to take care of them at a profit to both parties concerned.
