SMALL AUBURN PLANT
TO TREAT CONCENTRATES
A plant for reducing small ‘lots
of concentrates is to be erected at
Auburn for service to adjacent mining areas.
Hal D. Draper, local assayer. and
mine inspector, will be in’ charge cf
purchases for the new plant. He
bought three lots Wednesday and a
fourth yesterday forenoon. Two of;
the first ‘three lots, of concentrates .
came’ from Deer Creek. They were.
shipped to the new plant in Bakersfield yesterday and will continue to
go there until the plant at Auburn
is ready. Many little properties have
small lots of concentrates and it is
generally too expensive to take them
to the bay area. The company at
Auburn will be in a position to take
care of them at a profit to both parties concerned. As the trade rowan
and expands larger lots of concentrates will be handled.
