Penryn, has a crew of 35 employed.
The mill is treating 25 tons of very

work. The company is prearing to
sink the shaft to the 450-foot level
and other construction work is contemplated. Mr. Cord, of the Cord
Automobile Company, owns the controlling interest. Frank N. Sweet is
superintendent. :
ALABAMA MINING COMPANY
The Alabama Mining Company
has 18 men _ employed. They are
milling 30 tons of ore per day in n
10 stamp mill. The company has
; just installed anew hoist, compres‘sor and other surface equipment. A
shaft has been’sunk to the 200 foot
level. Concentration and amalgamation process is being used. Mr.
Anderson is superintendent.
