Well! Well! how time does fly—
September more than half gone already; So far we are having really
cold weather;— Thought Sunday’s
cloudy sky would surely bring the
rain, but only a few drops fell in
this section. Let’s review the events
of the past few days:
The school chcildren can do their
share toward disturbing the quiet as
reveryone knows.
And with the deer season open,
the hunters have their share in
breaking the solitude.
Mrs. P. Nichols and grandson,
Arthur Davis of Sacramento, and her
son Arthur, of. Spericeville visited
Mrs. Nichols and her family were longtime
of this place and their
neighbors always give them a glad
