and has been quite seriously ill in
the Highland hospital in Auburn. At
present he is under the care of Dr.
B. W. Hummelt of this city. Mr. Hiscox and assistants have spent the
last six weeks or two months planting many thousands of fish in the
lakes and streams of Nevada and
Placer counties’ and it was while
working in the latter county that he
was taken ill. :
Mrs. Ralph Morgan, also known
as Miss Harris, nurse, was operated
on Wednesday at the Nevada City
Sanitarium by Dr. B. W. Hummelt,
for an abdominal condition, She is
doing nicely.

Wright returned Wednesday from a
vacation spent near Downieville.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Flynn of this
city returned Tuesday from a most
enjoyable vacation spent in Oakland and Sacramento.
