Photo by Rowe Rogers and Howe United In Candlelight Ceremony The Bethel Church of Grass Valley shone with candlelight the evening of October tenth, when Judith Anne) Rogers and Arthur Herbert Howe were joined in marriage during a double-ring ceremony performed by the Reverend Doug lasFairrington. —~ The bride was given in marriage by her father,. James F. Rogers and was at. tended by her sister Jaculine . Mulch, Citrus Heights, as, matron of honor with Sharon Ash of Grass Valley as her bridesmaid. The grooms twin brother, Willard Herbert Howe, served -as best man with Phillip Gimmel as attendent. Other members of the wedding party were ring -bearer DouglasFairrington, Jr.; Christine Mulch, a niece of the bride, flower girl; and Miss Marylin White with Miss Nancy Miller, both of Grass Valley, candle-lighters. The bride wore a chapel gown of imported French lace _and silk tulle with a portrait neckline and long tapered Sleeves, accented by a basque waist witha bouffant skirt of tulle over net and satin appliqued with lace medallions, . Her veil was fingertip length illusion held by a crown of bridal sequins and seed pearls. The bridal bouquet, held on a white lace covered Bible, was a white satin beribboned . white orchid. The matron of: honor and the bridesmaid were identically attired in ballerina length organza: of azelea pink, with princess lines and billowing skirts. Their bouquets were of pink and azelea hued camations to match their gowns. Their headdresses were of make hing organza. . sang "Always", "A Wedding The diminutive flower girl . wore pale pink edged in. lace, . and carried a basket of petals , bedecked with pink ribbons. The cand le-lighters wore matching sheaths of pale pink with net overskirts, and their hats were of roses and satin ribbons, all matching shades of pink. The men of the wedding party wore white, dinner jackets.
