March Chinamen are very fond of chickens, and they like to have them served up in almost any style, provided they can get the fowls. He called loudly, was heard and rescued. A man is apt to talk out loud under such circumstances. November There are clothes lines depredators around. Friday night a poor woman of this place was robbed ofall the clothing left upon the line. It is well not to leave portable items where thieves can get them. em December Phillip McNellis and Michael Daley were caved upon in their digging yesterday afternoon, about 3 o'clock, at Union Hill.
