VSASIS A eh et og VAAN Ay VANSIAS AGA Before the day of the Internet, fax machines, and wireless or cordless phones, people were amazed by such state-of-theart technology as this telephone. It could be operated easily by anyone who could tell the operator the name of a person connected to the line, and you could browse the neighborhood by listening in. This doll house, completely furnished with tiny replicas of 19th century household appliances, furniture, and decorations, is a modern creation, donated to the Firehouse Museum by the artist-builder. Scale model of a street car once operated by the Nevada County Traction Company to transport local folks between Grass Valley and Nevada City.
