Please enjoy David’s report which is found on page 3. Perhaps our most newsworthy event of the year is the trek of Engine #5 to Carson City to participate in the Great American Steam-up, as held this past July. To report on this exciting event, we have arranged for renowned photographer Tim O’Brien to come and share his photo exposé of Engine #5 while at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in all her restored and new glory, at our final Speaker Night for 2022 on November 17th. I hope you can come join us! Daniel R. Ketcham President Board of Directors [email protected] (530) 477-8056 © Nevada County Historical Society Page 2 4th Quarter, October 2022
