A WHOLE LOAD OF TURKIES [sic].—A ranchman arrived in town yesterday with a whole
wagon load of fat turkies which he sold in a few minutes from three to four dollars each.

Having enlarged and entirely refitted his Saloon, and engaged the services of a
First rate Cook
Desires to inform the public that he is prepared to furnish a
Good Meal for 25 cts.
THE BAR
will always be supplied with the best of Wines Liquors, Havanah [sic] Cigars and Tobacco,
THE FRUIT STORE
will continue to keep all kinds of Fruits, Nuts and Candies.
He respectufily solicits a share of the public patronage and will do his best to deserve it.
PROBATE NOTICE.
IN THE PROBATE COURT, STATE OF California, county of Nevada. In the matter of the estate of Henry
Bowen, deceased. Pursuant to an Order in this Court made this day, Notice is hereby given, that Monday the 9th day
of January, A.D. 1865, at 10 o’clock, A.M., of said day, at the Court Room of this Counrt, in the County of Nevada,
has been appointed for hearing the application of John Bowen, prayinmg that a document now on file in this Court,
purporting to be the last will and testament of Henry Bowen, deceased, be adbmitted to Probate, and that letters
testamentary be issued therein to said John Bowen, at which time and place all persons interested thereto may appear
and contest the same. December 22d, 1864,

School Notice.
MRS. RIDER’S SELECT SCHOOL,
WILL OPEN FOR THE WINTER TERM, on Monday the 2d of January.
Thankful for the favors she has received, she begs a continuation of the same, and will assure her patrons that
no expense will be spared to make it THE SCHOOL of Nevada county.

NOTICE.
Dissolution of Partnership.
THE PARTNERSHIP HERETORFORE EXISTING between the undersigned in the Practice of Dental
Surgery, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. The business will be carried on at the old stand, by Dr.
Fellers, who is authorized to collect all bills due the firm, and will pay all debts.
