NEVADA TRANSCRIPT AUGUST 14 & 15, 1866 239 TUESDAY, AUGUST 14, 1866 BRIDGE BROKEN.—We learn that one of the stringers of Black’s bridge, across the Yuba, gave way yesterday. The San Juan stage was unable to cross and came back to town. The only road now open to San Juan is via Lake City. NEEDS REPAIRING.—The planking on Sacramento street is sadly out of repair. In many places the planking is worn through and when the rains come the street will be impassable. This thoroughfare should be improved before Winter.
