44 FEBRUARY 25 & 27, 1877 GRASS VALLEY UNION The young man who evolved it supposed that it would got far toward reconciling the Democrats to the fact that Mr. Tilden has been cheated out. . . . GOVERNMENT TITLES.—The property owners residing in North San Juan, French Corral and Sebastopol, will, in a few days, received from the County Judge, John Caldwell, Government titles to their land. We know that the prettiest girls in the world dwell here, but can any of them knit? We hope to hear from some of them. AROUND TOWN.—The town has been, for many weeks, enjoying a revival of religion. The Methodist church is well filled every night with men, women and children who are anxiously inquiring what they shall do to be saved. Many have joined the church and have publicly professed their faith. The meeting will be continued for an indefinite period; probably until Moody and Sanky arrive; and they are confidently expected in Grass Valley. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1877 BORN.
