The later part of the dinner hour was enhanced by the playing of Michael Fiesel, who play_ed several selections on hisaccordian. Mrs. Hass gave dramatic readings before the dancing began. Main Hours 10-5*Mon, thru’Friday The Emanual Episcopal Church, Grass Valley, banked with daffodils, jonquills and greenery, was the setting March 12 for the beautiful double ring wedding ceremony of Deanne McCauley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Dean McCauley, 507 W Main Street, Grass Valley, and Bruce Allen "Kip" lliff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hatfield, 201 16th Street, West Sacramento. The Reverend Robert Noble officiated, To the organ strains of Lohengrin, the lovely bride was escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her father. She wore a beautiful gown of silk organza and imported French lace over Tulle and silk taffeta. The bodice of Chantilly lace featured a scolloped Sabrina necklace re-embroidered with mother of pearl pailettes and long tapered sleeves, The Empire bodice was underscored with silk organza, centered with aflatdior bow. The basque waistline and full bouffant skirt ended in a cotillion sweep. Her veil was a finger-tip length tulle flowing froma pearl crown. She carried a single orchid with stephanotis on a white prayer book. Mrs, Eillene Collier, Sacramento, cousin of the bride, was the matron of honor, Her gown was a street length bell sheath of yellow taffeta accented by a yellow and blue carnation nosegay. Bridesmaids were Miss Paula Young, Salinas, Mrs. ~~ — ~ Mrs. Hass told them a story = w hich impressed them all. Jeff Blain’s Combo played for the dance and also entertained during the dinner hour. Miss Verna Thompson soloists of Los Angehes, beautifully rendered "Oh Perfect Love" and "A Wedding Prayer" accompanied on the orq@an_by Mrs, Bosworth, Towers; McCauley, mother of the bride, wore a two piece cocktail plaited skirt dress of navy blue accented by a white ostrich feather hat. Shewore a cymbidium orchid corsage and carried a navy Corday bag. Mrs. Hatfield, mother of thegroom, wore a Lavender Knit suit with black accessories. Her corage was a cymbidium orchid. Following the impressive ceremony, the young couple was honored witha reception held in the Frank Buck Hall, beautifully decorated in green and gold with pink and white camellias, where they received the congratulations of the 200 guests attending. The highlight of the reception was the traditional cutting of the wedding cake by the honored couple. The cake was made by the bride's father, as promised years ago. The cake was heart shaped andtieredto a height of five feet, blue and white in color with white camellias floating around the bottom. Those serving were Mary LouJean, Sacramento, Marilyn Sanders, Oakdale, Sharon Hollingshead, Sacramento and Susan Goss, Salinas. Miss Areta-Jo Hatfield, sister of groom, was in charge of the guest book, T he bride was graduated from Nevada Union High Schoolin1958. She also attended Sierra Junior College and Hartnell College. At thetime of her marriage, she was employed as secretary for an electral constrution company. The groom attended West Acres and James Marshall High, graduating in 1957.
