The Twin Cities Rifle team
last week lost a shootoff to
the Willows Rifle Club for
second place in the Buttes
Rifle League--as usual by a,
narrow margin ina highly
competitive match held at a
neutral range (Colusa).
The outcome of the stubbornly fought match was un-.
decided right up until the last
target was scored, with the
final score tied at 972 each.
The "Creedmore” system was
used to break the tie, with
Willows coming out on top
by two points in the offhand
position. :
The Twin Cities marksm
were defending champions,
having defeated the Willows
team last year by two points
in such a shootoff for first
place. Both matches with
