The Gatti Charles circus will be held June 7 at Nevada County Fairgrounds. Tickets are available through any deputy sheriff or by calling Don Schmidt, chairman of the Drug Abuse Committee. Profits from last year's circus were used to buy educational materials which have been used and are still being used by deputies on visits to elementary schools of the county. The deputies feel the children will have a better understanding of a law enforcement officer's job and more respect for him through these visits. Depending upon the age of the students they also are taught about the problems of drug abuse. It’s Later than you think!
