Ready Springs Voters Approve Bond Issue And State Loan Voters in the Ready Spring Union School District Tuesday approved a $45,000 bond issue and a state apportionment of $197,000 for expansion of the school plant in Penn Valley, The vote on the proposal to issue $45,000 in bonds was 193 to 66 and the vote to accept the state loan of $197,000 was 175 to 67, The residents recently voted to remove the’ district from the Nevada Union Sunior High System andreturn the seventh and eighth grade students to Ready Springs, The proposed building program is being undertaken to make room for the seventh and eighth graders and the continually growing enrollment in other grades.
