nine sub-committees and named
thechairmen. The various committees were given program
guidelines for their particular
area of study.
The meeting was then broken up
into the various committees, The
committees will now start their
work and in some cases will meet
with other sub-committees where
their areas of interest overlap.
Thenext step will be the filing
of program revisions with the
planning department for reproduction and distribution to the
variouscommittess, The deadline for filing of program revisions will be April 30,

been averaging about 30 to 35 per
cent on school issues and about 37
per cent of the voters in the high
school district turned out.
Five rural districts cast heavier
votes against the bond measure
than for it while the city and
urban districts cast more affirmative than negative votes,
Votes in the rural areas opposing
the issue went like this: Washington 10-7; Pleasant Valiey 2113; North San Juan 39-25; Clear
Creek 24-20 and Pleasant Ridge
137-123.
The proposed bond issue would
have paid for construction of a
new classroom wing, a boysgym,
expansion of the vocational facilities and site development.
T he issue was proposed because
of already crowded conditions in
the school.
