state, While in Alaska, Mr. McCully plans to visit other relatives of his,

Mr, Burley Pace has vacated his house at the Marysville Highway and Horton Street, He has returned to Washington state,
where his late wife Florence died in an automobile accident recently, Using thisresidetuce as a beauty parlor is Mrs, Artie
Wolfe, who opened her shop on April 17, Mrs, Wolfe is a graduate of the Career Beauty College of Yuba City in December,
1966, Artie has lived in Penn Valley for about four years, and
makes her home on Siesta Drive. This. lady is raising four *

Apparently, since Frank Harrison was separated from the Marine
Corps late in 1966, his mother Fern Harrison has found more idle
hours for herself, Frank joins his older brother Fred in the operation
and management of the Penn Valley Mobile Home Ranch, In order
to dissolve boredom, keep herself more occupied, and to earn
extra income, Fern would: like to become gainfully employed as
a cook or waitress, ;

Bill Dockter, besides being Penn Valley's only barber, is active
in the Volunteer Fire Department, He also holds down an extra
job at the Bret Harte Hotel in Grass Valley.

Mr. and Mrs, Wilcoxon were not able to produce children of
their own, and so they chose the alternative of caring for and
raising the offspring of others, These people are living in a large
mobile home, front and center of the trailer village.

Senior citizen Lee "Deke" DeCamp now has very limited eyesight. He can see for a maximum distance of about three feet,
and, at'that, the images are unclear and distorted, Lee cannot
read or drive a car, and he can only listen to his television set,
of course. To substitute for the reading that he cannot do, Deke
recently purchased a good-quality FM radio with a "built-in"
antenna, This old gentleman, who is trying for his eighty-first
birthday, resides alone in Pleasant Valley near the school by the
County Chamber

America section provides for
classes in beef cattle, dairy
cattle, swine, sheep, clean
stalls and agriculture mechanics. Robert Weise of Elk Grove,
livestock supervisor points out
that in addition to the same
classes in the 4-H Club section
there will also be classes in
light horses, wool, dairy goats,
feature exhibits, agriculturehorticulture, home economics,
clean stalls, poultry, rabbits,
entomology, agricultural
mechanics, and forestry, Cash
awards available for 4-H Club
exhibitors total $14,295, and
for Future Farmers $5, 165.
Fair officials point out there
are 1500 premium books listing
all exhibit divisions available
and 800 arts and crafts booklets
