How tomorrow's Picture-Phoné may look
By turning a knob you could show off a new baby in California to relatives and friends all over
the country. Or have a time-saving “phone view” of goods you want before going to the store. Long
distance conferences could be held face-to-face by men of business, science and government. This
may all be possible someday with Picture-Phones. They’re among many-exciting ideas telephone
people are working on to make your service more useful and to
help the nation keep its scientific leadership in a fast-changing world.
