The Nevada Irrigation District
is switching over to a Bank of
America data processing system
for water accounts and asks the
help of local water users.
The step recently approved by
the board of directors as an economy move and the district record
keéping system isnow in the process of being changed over.
The District forces, because of
the change in the billing system
effective April Ist, are in the
process of coding the information
necessary for the Bank of America
in San Francisco to receive and
place the information in their
machine. However, a delay in
getting this information together
for the Bank is in effect, therefore, all domestic users will be
affected and will not receive their
statements until the week of
April 19, 1965.
Collector, Elton A. Tobiassen,
would appreciate it if all domestic users would wait for current accounts until they receive
the new type bill before an attempt is made to make payment.
After the statements are received, payment may be made at
any branch of the Bank of America
or the payment may be mailed
using the envelope which is to be
enclosed with your statement.
The proper instructionsare
quoted on the»bill, and cooperation on the part of the water
users to make this transition and
efficiency move assuccess, will
be appreciated.
