lease the new main post office
at. Rough and Ready, Postmaster
General Winton M. Blount has
announced,

ing expenditures low, he added.
Under a
lease construction
program, the site located on
State Highway 20 will be assigned to the successful bidder
who will control the property,
construct the building to department specifications and lease it
to the department for a basic
period of 10 years and options
of 20 years. The land and building will remain on local tax
\ rolls, The building will contain
1,000 square feet.
The department's capital in
i vestment will be limited substantially to postal’ equipment.
