Buffington, 67, died unexpectedly at the home of his
niece, Mrs, Elizabeth Janes
Castro, July 24,
Mr. Buffington, bornin
Nevada City, has been living
in Santa Cruz since 1957,
following a serious illness
andthe ensuing medical advicetoseek a lower altitude
for his permanent home,
Mr. Buffington attended
public schools in Nevada
City.
He was a respected employe of the Nevada County
--Hospital for many years.
Mr. Buffinton is survived
by his wife, Maud, and four
children, Tim, Leland, Edna
May, and Rachael Lawyer.
Several neices and nephews
also survive.
