MARINE BAND...The "President's Own" Marine Band will offer a concert in Grass Valley Oct. 20. Sponsored by the Nevada County 4H Council, net ‘President's Own’ Band To Play October 20 GRASS VALLEY---Eight weeks remain until Nevada County residents will hear the "President ‘sOwn" United States Marine Band in concert in Grass Valley's Veteran ‘'s Memorial Building, Oct. 20. Sponsored by the Nevada County 4-HClub Council, net proceeds of the concert will be used tofinancea Nevada County 4-H Club girl, Felicia Schaps, to Argentina under the International Farm Youth Exchange program. Information regarding the matinee and evening concerts by the 55=piece Marine Band. will be awaikable at-the Nevada County District Fair in the 4-H Club headquarters booth set up in the grassy area near the livestock pens.
