The crop hasn't been up to last year's high quality But he does expect to be in the sweepstakes running down to the last award. Featured in numerous magazines, the "Bye-ma" Banner. Mountain farm has been listed as one of the ten most interesting gardens in the United States. The Baima family can take full credit for that and other plaudits in relation to their crops. The first years crop on their local farm at the 3,200 ft. level was as poor as the following years have been good. That first year the Baimas learned "no fertility, no crop." Immediately they set out to bring humus and fertilizer onto the land. Additional grass has been plantéd this past fall and winter. There are over 2,000 pine . trees on the Fair grounds over twenty inches in diameter that produce a wonderful deep shade which always is enjoyed by all who attend the fair. There will be plenty of benches and chairs scattered through the groves of trees where folks can sit and rest.also picnic tables are available for those who wish to bring their picnic lunch and eat under the CONTINENTAL by A-l and Levi fences, and they are blooming beautifully colors of the rainbow.
