They knew that they would have a great deal of hardships during the long trek to the western lands, but they had the courage within them that ‘was the motivating force for them to start west with their families and their small possessions tucked away in their wagons. ; These people had vision, courage and direct, positive acToday, individuals like Sam Partridge and his brother, together with Mr. Ken Davidson, and other individuals within our midst, are manifesting the same amount of vision, courage, and direct action here in Nevada County. Take a <a, little trip up to Wolf Mountain and see the Panoramic Estates with a Trillion Dollar View started by Sam Partridge. Take a trip up to Banner Mountain and see the work being done by . Mr. Partridge’s brother and Ken Davidson. Look. out of town on the South Auburn Highway and see what they are quietly doing there. It will give you a thrill and a sense of respect for these hardy individuals who are acting with courage to back up their vision to prepare our Miracle area for those who are going to join us with new homes, new families, new prosperity. : Is it any wonder that an acre lot sold for over $4000.00 in the Partridge-Davidson Banner Mountain sub-division? What are our civic organizations doing to help them? Surely our N. I. D. officials and other officials of necessary utilities are keeping pace with this new development.
