Bill Harrison of Los Altos, a three -time competitor in the Annual T our ot Nevada City bicycle race, was critically injured Saturday in a collision with an automobile. Harrison, 19, was in Nevada City three weeks ago using the SPORTS course and surrounding hills in his training for the Olympic trials in New York City. He isnow in a New Jersey hos~ pital in critical condition following the collision Saturday. According to his father, Harold W. Harrison, the youth suffered three crushed vertebrae and was paralyzed fromthe waist down, He wasto undergo surgery Saturday.
