Improvement of this road to Bowman Lake and thence to Jackson Meadow would offer great improvement torecreational use of Fuller, Rucker, Bowman and Jackson Meadow Lakes, as well as making more accessible nearly a dozen other small lakes east of the road. The Graniteville road to Bowman and thence to Jackson Meadow isa shorter stretch and might be easier to improve. It would also give much improved access to Bowman Lake and Jackson Lake. It would give a new connection over the Sierra, Graniteville to Truckee via Jackson Lake. The Graniteville road would also tie intothe proposed Malakoff-North Bloomfield State Park area.
