ROSEVILLE--+The marriage.
of Carolyn Caldwell and
Michael y Lemich was
solemnized at high noon,
June 30, in the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints, Roseville, with the
Bishop Orville Thane officiating. The double ring cere.
mony was witnessed by seventy family members of the
young couple,
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice
Tunget of Loomis, and Edwin
Caldwell of Monrovia. She
is a former student of Sierra
Junior College.
Thegroom, the son of Mr.
and Mrs, Gerald Ducotey, is
a graduate of Nevada Union
High School and formerly a
student at Sierra Junior College, Mrs, LeRoy Bond, Grass
Valley, is his grandmother,
and Mrs, Otto Craig, Grass
Valley, his greatgrandmother,
Carolyn wore her mother's
wedding gown of white chantilly lace over antique satin.
It was made sheath style,street length, drapped from
mid-shoulder to hemline
with an antique white satin
half-bow and single tie.
Three-quarter sleeves and a
deep neckline were fanscolloped. A waist length
shadow veil was held by a
crown of seeded pearls. The
bridal bouquet was of white
roses,

The bride's mother chose
an afternoon dress of navy
taffeta’ and pillbox hat of
matching material for her
daughter's wedding. The
groom's mother‘wore a navy
blue sheer net dress with
matching crown hat. Both
completed their costumes
with white accessories and
corsages of white carnations, .
A reception was held at the
home of the bride's parents
in Hidden Valley with the
outdoor setting of garden, .
patio, and swimming pool
lending a picture of beauty
in sunset colors to the indoor
living room reflecting mirrors. Here the bride's cake of
three standing tiers centered
the table covered in blue
satin damask and blue crystal. Music was provided by
the bride's father, an accomplished musician, accompanied by family members.
Following a honeymoon
spent in the Bay area, the
couple are making their
home in Roseville. Both are
employed at Aero-Jet.
Out of town guests included
those of the bride from southern California and the Loomis
and Sacramento area, and
the groom's relatives from
Ely andReno, Nevada, Berkeley, Richmond and Sacramento.

courses, 40 per cent more

during Sierra College's evening school program this fall,
Director Frank Van Vliet reported this week.
Allcourses offered are for
college credit, with most
classes beginning at 7 p.m.,
Mondays through Thursdays.
Most classes are held once a
week, a few twice a week.

LETTUCE SALAD DRESSING
Mash 1/4 lb. Blue cheese
Gradually add 1/4 cup lemon juicé, strained
Add 1/2 cup salad oil
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 tsp aromatic bitters
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed.
Blend well. Cover and chill for several hours to blend
flavors.

in the Sacred Heart Church,

daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank N. Gordon, Grass Valley, was given in marriage
by her father. She was gowned in floor length, satin brocade made with a chapel

and bell skirt. Her shoulder
length silk illusion veil was
held-in place with a pearl
crown, She carried a shower
bouquet of white roses centered with an orchid.
