"Bizz" Johnson, representing the Central Sierra area, today announced approval of a $108,000 Economic Development Administration grant to help construct an access road to a garbage disposal site north of Lake Tahoe, The new solid waste disposal area will serve portions of Placer, El] Dorade and Nevada counties, The project will be constructed by the Placer County Board of Supervisors. Congressman Johnson noted, in announcing the grant, that a total of 1.3 miles of roadway will be constructed.
