operated a shoe store. Funeral services were heldin the
Hooper Weaver Mortuary

Hamilton of the First Methodist Church officiating.

Catholic Church in Grass
Valley. Burial was in the
Catholic Cemetery.

He was the son of Mr. and

18 years. He would have
graduated from Nevada
Union High School last June
but was prevented bya
lingering illness. Funeral
services were held in the
Hooper Weaver Mortuary
Dec. 8. Burial was in New
Elm Ridge Lawn.

6, 1962, Helen Nordin, She
wasa native of Hungary aged
90 years, She had no known
living relatives and had been
a patient inthe Nevada
County Hospital for five
years. Funeral services were
held Dec, 6 in the Bergemann Funeral Chapel. Cremation followed in Sierra
View, Marysville.

man, Civic leader and sportsman. He was a past president of the Grass Valley Lions
Club, a member of the Banner Grange and the Rifle Rod
and Gun Club, Funeral services were held in Emmanuel
Episcopal Church Dec. 6.

Wood. He was the husband
of Grace B. Wood of Grass
Valley, brother of Mrs. Fred
Hope of Grass Valley and Leo
Wood of Montebello. He was
anative of Owensboro, Kentucky, aged 68 years. He was
a retired rancher and a former movie stunt man. Funeral services were heldin the
