CAMPTONVILLE — Mrs.
Cynthia Jaslow and daughter of
Santa Clara; sisters, Mrs, Virginia Cook of Fair Oaks and
Mrs. Constance Kirkpatrick of
El Dorado County, all former
residents; were in town over
the weekend.
Mrs. Vernon F. Lyons has
been confined at a Nevada City
hospital with an injured knee.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gevas
came from Lake Tahoe Sunday
on a brief visit to their former home here.
Mrs. Dorothy Woodford of
Chester was in town over the
weekend,
Alan Stuart, who is stationed
with the U.S. Navy at Treasure
Island, is here for a visit with
his grandmother, Mrs. Grace
Pauly.
Mr. and Mrs. Marrel D.
Schimpf and Lisa Schimpf of
Rio Vista were visitors in town
last week.
Extremely cold weather prevails with the thermometer be= ing down to 14 Friday morning, and from one and a half to
two feet of snow covering the
SKIP RIEBE, captain of women golfers at Nevada County Country Club, uses a club to threaten
her 1973 corps of officers. Skip and the others installed Tuesday are Norma Wangberg, secretary; Lori Neilson, treasurer; May LaBianco, co-captain and Dorothy Hedman, representative
to the board of directors.
