Graham Gets Special Grid Honors Sierra College's Frank Graham and Shasta‘s Jim Costello were . unanimously chosen to fill slots on the All Golden Valley Conference team. The choice was made last week in Sacramentoby Golden Valley Conference coaches, SPORTS Graham earned the position of first string defensiv®linebacker and Costello was awarded the honor of quarterback of the offensive team. _ . Fra nk Graham Honorable mention onthe offensive team for Sierra College were endJohn Perry and‘halfback Greg Moore, Wolverines Drop Another Heartbreaker Shasta College of Redding remained unbeaten in Golden Valley Conference competition last Saturday at Rocklin when they rolled over Sierra College 35-0 before a good crowd, the first ever to see a Sierra game on the home practice field. The win was gravy for the white and green of Shasta, who already had been invited to meet Valley Conference champion College of Sequoias in the Empire Bowl in Santa Rosa on Saturday, Dec. 4. Both teams were unbeaten in their conference. For Sierra, the game was one of frustration andmistakes, Despite the score, Sierra punted only twice, losing the ball on four pass interceptions and four fumbles, all of which were costly.
