The commission initially received angling recommendations: from the Department of Fish and Game and the public at a meeting in Sacramento, Oct. 2, The proposed regulations, or determinations, were announced after a public hearing Oct, 30 in RedHighlighting the proposed regulations is a recommendation for an all-year trout season in lakes and reservoirs throughout California, with the exception of Alpine, Inyo and Mono counties. The proposal would provide for a limit of 10 fish May 1 through Nov. 15 and a limit of five fish during the balance of the year. DFG Director G. Ray Arnett said the thrust of the recommento ‘simplify Califo sport fishing regulations.
