Young men interested in careers
at sea will have the opportunity
of taking an entrance examination to be given by the California
Maritime Academy at Vallejo on
Saturday, January 2, 1965, at 9
a.m.
Nofees, appointments or other

examination to be given to select
candidates for the next entering

the first Saturday of each month

examination. Upon admission,

must be at least 17 years of age

The California Maritime Academy, under the State Department of Education, prepares
young men for future careers of
leadership in the maritime industry. The course requires three
years and includes three training
cruises to foreign and domestic
ports. A graduate receives a
bachelor of science degree and
earns a license as third mate or
third assistant engineer in the
