In his four page report to the Board, hepointed out that current activity in the realm of Civil Defense in Nevada County is at a standstill, Nothing has been done during the past year, The lack of training of people to act in case of extreme emergency, and the need for suitable equipment to do the job was pointed out in the report, : _ Previously we put together a plan for Civil Defense, and filed it with the State and Federal Agencies, however, due to our lack of activity in carrying out our plan it now appears that we have lost our eligibility for any State or Federal Aid, he states, Now it is our prime responsibility to get a pears reorganized, start training soth at we can requalify for aid we need to coordinate our efforts in the matter of Civil Defense.
