named Soldier of the Month
forthe 2nd Howitzer Battalion, llth Artillery, Fort
Campbell, Ky.
A wireman in the battalion's Headquarters Battery,
Sage was selected for his
soldierly appearance, know ~
ledge and performance of
duties and military courtesy.
The 19-year-old soldier
entered the Army in mid1960 and completed basic
training at Fort Ord.
