Pursuant to Section 1511 of the
Code of Civil Procedure, notice
is hereby given that the persons
listed below appear to be the
owners of unclaimed money or
other personal property. Information concerning the amount

other personal property and the
name and address of the holder
may be obtained by any persons
possessing an interest in such
abandoned property, by writing
to ALAN CRANSTON, STATE
CONTROLLER, Bureau of Unclaimed Property, P, O. Box

giving the name, number, and
address, as shown in this notice,
Unless proof of claim is presented
to the holder and the owner's
right to receive the property is
established to the holder's satisfaction within 65 days from the
date of the second published
notice, the abandoned property
will be placed in the custody of
the State Controller not later than
85 days after such publication
date; and all further claims must

COMPENSATION OF THE CITY
CLERK, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO, 148 AND ALL
OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH
The City Council of the City
of Nevada City does ordain as
follows: :
Section 1,, Compensation.
The City Clerk shall receive as
compensation for his official ser~vices the sum of $50.00 per
month,
Section 2, Repeal. Ordinance
No, 148 of the City of Nevada
City, and all other ordinances or
parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith, are hereby repealed,
Section 3, Operative Date,
This ordinance shall become operative on July 1, 1966.
Section 4, Publication, The
City Clerk shall cause this ordinance to be published once,
within 15 days after its final passage, inthe Nevada County
Nugget, a newspaper of general
circulation published and circulatedin the City of Nevada City,
Passed and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council of
the City of Nevada City, Califomia, on the 14th day of Febtuary, 1966, by the following
