MEDITATION MOMENT Father, teach me to listen when I pray. Thank You for listening, and for others also, who are willing to listen. Help me to realize that troubles and setbacks are part of life and living. Grant that Imay not despair, but if I do, help me to work on in despair. When I get to the end of my rope, show me how to tie a knot in it and hang-on. Teach me how to hide my fears, and to show courage, not for my own sake alone, but for the sake of those around me, Let me not be afraid totry again with worthwhile things, realizing that even a turtle hasto stick hisneck out to get anywhere, Thank You for the Abraham who believed, and led his people from afar to build a new nation; and for the Abraham who split rails, but would not split a Union. Thank you for the George who knelt at Valley Forge; and for all the Georges whom we “let do it." Show me that the only real failure in life is ceasing to try. And help me to learn that the only persons I should ever try to get even with are those who have helped me, H. E. Berg, Three R’s Bookstore 217 W.
