Kitts and County Service OfficerJohn Kootstra have announced that Nevada County veterans, veteran's widows and dependent parents will be able to file for their veterans tax exemp-~ tion for 1965 beginning March 1. With the passage of Propositions Four and Five at the November 3, 1964, election, there have been some changes made in the California Constitution. No applications will be taken after May 3, 1965. Burial was in Sierra Lawn Cemetery ++ + + + BAGLEY -~in Placerville February 14, 1965, Kitty Russell Bagley, 51, the wife of Mark; stepmother of Dale and Jim, both of Nevada City; sister of Lenore Braselton and Edna Barnett, both of Louisiana, Mrs. Bagley died suddenly while she and her husband were visiting in Placerville. She was a teacher at Nevada Union High School for the past 10 years. Shewasa graduate of the Louisiana Technical College, a post graduate of Louisiana State and of the University of Texas. She recently had received credentials from Sacramento State College for a counselor's degree. She was a member and past matron of Evangeline Chapter No, 9 Order of Eastern Star and a member of Menzaleh Temple No, 16 Daughters ofthe Nile, Eastern Star funeral services were held February 17 in the Bergemann and Son Mortuary Chapel.
