Seven small post offices in
Nevada county will benefit from
a new postal service program
designed to expand home deliveries to an additional four
million Americans.
The expanded service will affect post offices at Cedar Ridge,
Chicago Park, Norden, North
San Juan, Rough -and Ready,
Soda Springs and Truckee, according to Congressman Harold
T. (Bizz) Johnson,
Under the program, persons
living more than a quarter mile,
but less than half a mile from

have city delivery are now eligible to receive the delivery at
