Superintendent Gerald Gelatt
will be completed on or before
the March 17 meeting, Nevada
Union High: School trustees
determined Tuesday night.
Dr. Wayne Boulding,
chairman of the four person
screening committee, met with
the trustees in executive session
for nearly an hour at the start of
the mid-month board meeting.
The original field of 74
applications was reduced to 13
held Sunday, Feb. 23 and final . Upon objection by most of the
selection made afterwards.
Public announcement _ is
expected at the March 3 or
March 17 trustee meeting. .

Superintendent Gelatt, Carl
Thompson, assistant
superintendent in charge of

Placer County Schools

property along Slate Creek road
for a race track and urged the
group to find a more acceptable
area.

the recommendations.

State Parks Director William P.
Mott.
The state will provide $29,700
to manufacture snowmobile
trail signs and maps of approved
trails. The signs will be posted
on National Forest lands within

made available through the U.
S. Forest Service.
