Supervisors Feb, 16. Highway engineers from the Highway Division have asked to appear at that day's meeting of ‘the supervisors to exchange ideas before initiating studies on Routes 20 and 49 in the Grass Valley area. The meeting is set for 10a.m. in the supervisors’ chambers of the County Courthouse in Nevada City. One unit to be discussed is a six-mile section of Route 49 south of Grass Valley from the present terminus of the Golden Center Freeway (Routes 20/49) and Lime-Kiln county road intersection to the south. In addition, a three-mile section of Route 20 west of Grass Valley between the Yuba County Line and Pet Hill will be under discussion.
