Maude Calvert, Rough & Ready resident, dies Mrs, Maude Calvert, a 90year-old resident of Rough and Ready, died Monday evening at Nevada General Hospital. Mrs, Calvert was born Maude Taylor on aranch off the Bridgeport Road to Mr. and Mrs, Jack Taylor. Her father was a butcher first in Penn Valley and later in Rough and Ready. Mrs. Calvert lived on her parents' ranch until she was five then moved with them to Rough and Ready to the house she lived ' in until entering the hospital the end of December. During her marriage, (her husband died many years ago) she lived for awhile in Oakland.
