CODE ,1956, AS AMENDED, THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF NeVADA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA; DO ORDA -IN AS FOLLOWS: : . SECTION 1_ That Section 2.7 of the Code of the. aes of Nevada, California, 1956, as amendéd, shall provide: There is hereby created a Pinninting Adieky : for the County, under and pursuant to Article One, Chapter 3, Division 3, Title7 ofthe: ernment Code of the State. Pursuant to Section 65100 of the Government Code, the Planning Agency shall include a Planning Commission. Such Planning ee. on be known as the Nev Count Plai enc SECTION: 11 That Section 2 .8 of the Code of the Coese) of’ Nevada, California, 1956, as amended, shall” provide: The Nevada County Planning Agency shall’ consist of seven members: One to be nominated by each Supervisor from his Supervisorial District for a term to run concurrently with the term of the nominating Supervisor; Two members shall’be appointed by the Board of Supervisors from the County at large for a four year term. The term of the two members appointed at large shall be staggered so that one term shall terminate on December 31, 1968, and the: other on December 31, 1970. Under the. Direction of the Board, the Planning Director shall be in complete charge of the Subordinate employees of the Planning Department and shall be directly responsible to the Board of Supervisors for the administration of the Department. The planning Department shall serveas liaison bet‘ween the Planning Agency and the County Board: of Supervisors. fhe Planning Department shall perform all duties as provided by law, and such other duties as may be assigned to the Department by the Board of Sup ‘ervisors from time to time. SECTION V1l This Ordinance shall take eifect and bein force at the expiration of thirty (30)-days from and after its passage, and shall become operative on the Third day of February, 1967, and, before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage it shallbe published once, with the names of the Supervisors voting for andagainst the same, in the Union , a newspaper of gene= ra circulation printed and published in the County of Nevada. Adopted and passed as an Ordinance of the .
