Percy, thats our cat, needshelp from somebody, He was born’
on the beach and like’ the looks of water for he learned early
in life that water was the home of fish, Now to him fish are
food of the gods and he can not get enough fish, Many was
. the time when he spent hours on the beach searching for the
tiny fish that the strong waves left high and dry on the sand..
Now tohis current trouble. He has wandered around the Bebo ype
and found the N.I,D, Irrigation ditch, ‘This looked good to
him %o he sat on the bank of the ditch and watched for a fish
to come swimming by. For hours he did this with no luck,
As a matter of fact when I discovered his plight he gave me a
sad song about wafer flowing by and no fish, In his eyes one ’
could see the question, “All this-water and no fish, what is
wrong with this country?" 4
I feel that he would like for.me to make a plea to NID to
put some fislfin that water so that a good cat can make a
living.. Hedoesnot drink the water, only looks at it with
fish staring eyes hoping, hoping, that one will come swimming
along. .If the NID will not chlorinate the water: then Percy
