Mrs, Jeffery, a native of New Iberia, La., has been a resident of Grass Valley 33 years and was active in women's groups of the Catholic Church. A funeral mass was said Jan. 12 in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with burial in St, Patrick’s Cemetery. Hooper -Weaver Mortuary was in charge of arrangements, tit + 4 4+ . Richards, both of Nevada: City. Richards came to Nevada City at the age of two years. Heattended local schools and worked at Rahr's Carriage Shop, Grissell's Meat Market and the Champion Mine. He moved to Sacramesto and returned here in 1946.
