(tomorrow) for the year. 1959, unless they plan. to file their final

February 15, Joseph M. Cullen,
director of Internal Revenue for
San Francisco district, explained
this week.
He said farmers. who file an
estimated return by January 15
and pay the tax due have until
April 15 to file a final income
tax return and pay any balance
of tax due. Otherwise, the law
requires they file their final income tax return and pay the
full amount of: their tax by Feb-.
ruary 15.
Mr. Cullen said this option is
available to farmers only. The
tax law defines a farmer as one
who derives two-thirds or more
of his gross income from farming.
He advised farmers that if they
filed federal income tax returns
last year, the necessary forms
for 1959. will be mailed to them.
For those who did not file, or
who, for some other reason, do
not receive forms in the mail,
blank forms -may be’ obtained
from the neares€ Internal Revenue office or from local post
offices or banks.
