At a most enjoyable dinner
party last Wednesday night Mr.
William Cramer became the new
president of the Rough and
Ready Chamber of Commerce,
"Bill" has a great many plans
for our community in the ensuing year so keep your eyes
open for the big things that
will be happening in Rough and
Ready. Other directors for next
year will be Charles Sailor,
ladies of the Rough and Ready
Grange at their next meeting
on Tuesday, January 21, Dessert luncheon is at 12 and the
business session at 1 p.m, .
The regular grange will hold
its next meeting Friday, Janvary 17, Potluck dinner will be
at 6:30 p.m. Mr. J. W. Weselsky of the U. S, Forest Service
will be the speaker. Business
session. will start at 8 p.m.

Thanks to the splendid background music of young Mr. David
Doolan and the Baboons and
Rough and Ready Republic flags,
there was a festive atmosphere
to the whole evening beginning
with the get-acquainted hour at
6 p.m. The hour accomplished
its purpose and 56 friends adjourned to the dining room for
an excellent dinner served by
the ladies of the Grange.
The installation of officers
was done by Mr. Larry Farrell
representing the county chamand Ready. Mary O'Neal says
the length of her brother's stay
is indefinite. They are both funloving and are having such adelightful time together he might
be here for a long time. They
