THIS: "DUTCHMAN", located at the Oregon Creek Campi grounds, serves to transport Bureau of Land Management ; personnel across Oregon Creek when the little tributary to =the Yuba reaches flood stage. The covered bridge is not , passable at times during severe winters, and the "Dutch“” man" is used to keep the BLM, in touch with the rainfall meter on the opposite side of the rdging waters.
