GRASS VALLEY MOBILE VILLAGE. The potluck last Thursday was a huge success, with over 60 people present and loads of delicious food of all kinds. Next Tuesday the Mother Lode Chapter 179 of Golden State Mobilhome Owners League, will in addition to their meeting have a showing of a "hippie" film which is supposed to be a very interesting film, I myself have never seen it so only way to find out is to come and See it. On Tuesday July 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the recreation hall The ‘Mother Lode Chapter is also sponsoring a life saving class, The Sacramento Yolo Sierra Heart Association is sending us their demonstration dummy called RescuAnnie; Dr. C. Jackson Rayburn will be our instructor assisted by Rosemary Decker. This class will be open to all members of G.S.M.O.L. The Colonel Pecks have gone on another vacation; this will be their second this year. Gordon Fosters have gone to the Redwoods and on tothe coast for some fishing and clam digging. Ernest Cooper is visiting in Sacramento area, Mrs. Netz is back in the hospital. The Bebens in space 5 are the kind of people who believe the best way to see all the beauties of a town is to walk, so they walk all over to and from town and other vicinities, and I bet they know more about our town already than many of us that have lived here for years. The Milnes and the Smiths with mobiles on private property, have gotten together and are having a lovely big 20 by 40 ft, swimming pool built to be used by -both families: Now I know where I can go when the weather gets too warm. Was real glad to find where the Hoods lived. They moved from a Mobile Park to their own land, and the children must love all the freedom that they now have to run and play, and climb trees; anyone with active children knows how hard it is for them to be constrained. Last week I jumped down from a bench where I was watering my hanging baskets, and ran:a nail through my foot. Bad part was my allergy to horse serum, but thank goodness they now have a new Tet serum made from ?; anyway I have to have shots for —. three months and my arm is plenty sore, But I'm thankful just the same. MOUNTAIN AIR MOBILE PARK. We have some new tenants now in the park waiting for their new Mobilhome; their name is Lentz, and they will be a help to the Williams' tending the park while they are on vacation. Here for Fourth Mr. and Mrs. Madison Devlin of Mill Valley spent the Fourth of July holidays. in Nevada City. Devlin is a wellknown magazine photographer. The Nevada: County Nugget 3 Calling all artists Artists. and artisans of Nevada, California, or wherever, are invited to participate in an allaround competitive summer arts festival, August 22, 23 and 24, to be held at the Park Lane Centre mall, East Plumb Lane and South Virginia Street, Reno.
